I'm starting with the daily driver street jeep. Will build a trail rig later. I have a 2011 jk 2 door. Planning to swap in a newer model tdi and an awd or fulltime 4wd transfer case. Definitely planning on sound proofing it too.

Just got my S-tech system all installed and setup, although now I am faced with the struggle of trying to connect those switches to my lights themselves. The switches seem like single wire connectors while the lights connect via a three pronged peice, any clue how to solve this?

Looks good but personally I'd be concerned about a side impact collision with no airbags and little between passengers and vehicles. Back in 1989 I bought a brand new 4WD manual transmission Dodge Dakota Convertible. The best of both worlds. (convertible and pickup) and with the flip of two handles the top folded back to the bed and had a cover similar to the old VW Beatles

I’m more interested in the heat shield. My JK feels like an oven in the spring and gets worse in the summer. Time to do this mod. At least the roof. Window tints help but the heat radiating from the roof is def a problem.

Noticed your passenger airbag warning light is on. Mine comes on & off on my 2014 JKU. I changed the clockspring and it seems to not be as much but still comes on. Messed with the connections under the seat but still no luck. Any idea what the problem could be?

If you put the antenna on the back like you did can you still also have the tire on the backv

Good afternoon, I love all content you guys are posting! Thank you so much I have a shock question for you if I may have your opinion I would greatly appreciate it. I have a stock gladiator Rubicon on 35s and am looking to upgrade my shocks to the Falcon adjustable 3.3. I know you ran them for a good amount of time and wanted your on-road opinion. Most of what my family and I do now is 90% on the road and 10% on the trail. I’m looking for the best on-road ride and hanging I can get. Good reason to have an extinguisher reachable from the driver seat. If you were backed up against a big rock or a tree you may not have been able to reach it in a timely manner

Have a couple of aerosol fire extinguishers mounted outside of the front seat base on each front seats. Never used them before and hope they work if ever needed lol

Tell your JKU friend since they broke that stub shaft, upgrade to a RCV shaft and you won’t have to worry about it again. Much stronger.

Thanks for showing us around crossbar. I love the idea of doing an external reservoir. We've been around 4 trail fires to date and 3 of those have been power steering fluid on the exhaust.

This mod DOES NOT require you to DRILL HOLES. I put JL latches on my 13 JK no problems. I took the aligment pins off.

Glad your rig didn’t burn to the ground. I am in the process of a Hemi swap myself (5.7L) the power steering pump has a remote reservoir. It was out of a dodge magnum… hope that helps!
